Monty is an art centre at the crossroads where dance, drama, performance and multimedia meet. It is a
presentation platform for everything from small-scale to mediumsized productions, both national and international.

Troubleyn/Laboratorium, belonging to Jan Fabre and his company, is a place where
artists and researchers can meet. It aims to be a modest, independent research lab, a sort of refuge, where cre-

The Royal Ballet of Flanders was founded in 1969. It is the only classical ballet
company in Belgium. The 2005-06 season was the first one with Kathryn Bennetts as its artistic director. Her

theatre makers: Benjamin Verdonck, Wayn Traub, Lotte van den Berg, Olympique Dramatique, De Filmfabriek,
Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Bart Meuleman and Abke Haring. They all go in search of new forms of expression and
new forms of theatrical communication with the audience.
